The Form 1 in London

Posted on November 20, 2012 by Luke Winston

A few members of the Formlabs team ventured across the pond known as the Atlantic this weekend to show London what the Form 1 can do. The 3D Printshow has given us the great opportunity to meet and talk with some of our most enthusiastic Form Fans. We would go into more detail ourselves, but Engadget wrote an excellent piece on their experience at the Formlabs booth. See it at Engadget.com

Holding a patent is only a license to sue. These large companies sue because they can. They know you have no large amount of funds and they will eventually try to force you to make an offer of settlement. My advice, speak to all of the political people you can find. Make offers of donating machines to schools. Make them out as the bad guys and if all else fails, make sure you haven’t violated the patents. There is another company out there making a DLP machine that has the same problem you have. EnVision Tec holds most of the patents on DLP. and I know the head of the company in the US. He sues at the drop of a hat. Your machine looks awesome. Call me at 941-505-1506 and I may be able to help you.
