Formlabs extends its global presence, expanding distribution to Australia and Singapore

SOMERVILLE, Mass. , Sep. 29, 2014Formlabs (formlabs.com), a leader in professional desktop 3D printing, announced today that they will expand product distribution and customer support to include Australia and Singapore in response to growing demand in the region.

This move marks a milestone in Formlabs’ rapid growth. Two years ago, the company completed a breakthrough Kickstarter campaign, raising USD $2.9M from backers around the world.

Since that time, Formlabs has released a second flagship product, the Form 1+ 3D Printer, which is distributed throughout the United States and Europe. The expansion to Australia and Singapore marks its first point of distribution in the Asia-Pacific region. Formlabs’ pioneering Form 1 and Form 1+ 3D printers have won numerous industry and design awards, and remain at the forefront of the desktop 3D printing industry.

“We are excited to bring the Form 1+ to users in Australia and Singapore. They are important markets, and we’ve received many requests to include them in our distribution. We created Formlabs to empower engineers and designers all over the world to create remarkable things. We’re really happy to be able to offer our product to users in Australia and Singapore,” said Formlabs co-founder, Max Lobovsky.

Formlabs’ flagship Form 1+ 3D Printer ships with one-liter of resin, powerful PreForm software, and includes a standard one-year warranty. Customers in Australia and Singapore will enjoy the same seamless experience as those in North America and the EU, which includes customer support, warranty coverage, and no additional shipping charges for printer maintenance.
