Formlabs Announces European Expansion
New European facilities come with local sales, one-year warranty, better service, and faster, cheaper shipping.
London, UK, Jun. 10, 2014 – Formlabs, the creator of the Form 1+ desktop 3D printer, announced the opening of its online European Store today. European customers will now enjoy an enhanced customer experience with local payment, dramatically reduced shipping costs, a one-year warranty, and full service and repair operations in the region.
The new store comes just in time to share Formlabs newest groundbreaking printer with Europe, the Form 1+. The printer is available for €2,799 at the Formlabs web store (formlabs.com), which has been completely overhauled and enhanced for customers worldwide. The first of the Form 1+ printers will ship in Europe starting in July.
With expanded European operations comes an extended warranty on the Form 1+, as well as free shipping on servicing and returns. “We’re thrilled to offer better service,” said Luke Winston, Formlabs Operations Lead. “Most importantly, we’re proud that customers can rest easy with a reliable printer backed by a 1 year warranty and local service operations.”
Formlabs has partnered with UK-based Express Group to sell and service Formlabs’ desktop stereolithographic 3D printing technology to the European market.
