Formlabs Extends Global Presence to Japan

Partnerships with Tech Co. Ltd and Brulé bring Formlabs’ stereolithography 3D printing technology to Japan.

Jun. 18, 2015Formlabs (formlabs.com), a leader in professional desktop 3D printing, today announced partnerships with two Japanese technology companies in a move to expand distribution and service to Japan.

In order to offer leading sales service and customer support, Formlabs is partnering with Brulé, a leading solutions provider for high-technology products, and Tech Co. Ltd, a premier maintenance and support services company. Together, the three companies will operate a jointly-run Formlabs Customer Care Center that will ensure that Japanese customers enjoy the same high levels of customer service and after-sales care that Formlabs offers internationally.

“We knew that expanding Formlabs distribution to Japan meant really focusing on all the elements of customer service. Formlabs’ flagship desktop stereolithographic 3D printer, the Form 1+, is an award-winning tool used by engineers, designers, and artists around the world. Known for its high-resolution 3D prints, precision engineering, and sleek design, the Form 1+ has become one of the key players in desktop 3D printing, with users in the USA, Europe and Asia.

The Form 1+ package comes with a Form 1+ SLA 3D printer, resin tank, and finish kit, with a library of standard and functional resins available for purchase.
