Formlabs Presents Digital Manufacturing with Form Cell and SAP® at Hannover Messe 2018
For the first time to an EU audience, Formlabs will have Fuse 1 and Form Cell at the show
Hannover, Apr. 20, 2018 – At Hannover Messe, April 23-27, 2018, Formlabs, the designer and manufacturer of powerful and accessible 3D printing systems, will demonstrate how additive manufacturing is changing the landscape for traditional manufacturing methods.
At SAP’s booth in Hall 7, Stand A02, Form Cell, a fully automated 3D printing platform, will be on display, printing factory-floor spare parts such as a gripper and valve along with customized plate cards and pens. The print examples highlight the strength of a product like Form Cell in an industrial manufacturing or service provider environment where multiple prints need to be running simultaneously with different resin materials to make customized prints.
The smooth process from customer order to final print will be showcased with Form Cell, Materialise Magics 3D Print Suite, SAP® Distributed Manufacturing and SAP Manufacturing Execution. With this software integration, additive manufacturing can be brought into a fully digital production process and connect directly with business systems.
At the Formlabs booth in Halle 006, Booth J06, Formlabs will feature Fuse 1 for the first time to an EU audience. Along with Color Kit, a color mixing solution for Formlabs standard resin and two new engineering resins Rigid and Grey Pro for the Form 2 3D printer. Partners and customers will also participate in roundtable discussions throughout the show, including SAP, Roland Berger and Autodesk.
