Michael Sorkin Joins Formlabs as EU Lead

SOMERVILLE, Mass., Aug. 12, 2015 – Formlabs, the makers of the Form 1+ SLA 3D printer, today announced that Michael Sorkin will be joining Formlabs leadership team to focus on the company’s EU expansion. Sorkin joins Formlabs from iGo3D, one of Europe’s leading 3D-printing distribution companies which he co-founded in 2013. The move signals Formlabs’ ongoing commitment to growing and serving its European presence.

Sorkin brings deep entrepreneurial and market experience to the Formlabs team. During his time at iGo3D, he grew the company to a team of 50, expanding beyond Germany to serve the Netherlands, Poland and Russia. Sorkin also sits on the advisory board member of The 3D Printing Association, the leading global association for the 3D printing industry.
