This silicone boot is a soft, pliable cover to protect the clutch actuator cylinder in a vehicle from water, dirt, and debris. Because Silicone 40A Resin shows excellent chemical and thermal resistance, the boot can be exposed to high temperatures and chemicals such as salt water, oils, alcohol, or polar solvents without showing any degradation in properties. The durability of Silicone 40A Resin allows for the boot to be used on the field for validation testing or as an end-use part.
