If you have a fleet of Formlabs 3D printers, it’s now possible to manage and monitor the entire fleet via one centralized dashboard. This simplifies collaboration, streamlining workflows and increasing productivity.
These previously paid features — formerly called Fleet Control — are now free and integrated into Dashboard, giving all users access to Group Queues for automated print assignment, Cloud Slicing for faster processing, and Bulk Firmware Updates for seamless printer maintenance, all in one easy-to-use platform.

The latest version of PreForm offers updates for selective laser sintering (SLS) and stereolithography (SLA) users.
Now Available in Seven Languages
Formlabs is grateful to have a global audience for our 150,000+ printers, and this latest update allows users to use PreForm in the language they’re most comfortable with. Language options include English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese. To select a preferred language, use the preference menu inside PreForm.
Maximize SLS Printer Efficiency With “Add to a Running Job” (Beta)
Increase productivity and respond to time-sensitive orders with “Add to a Running Job” for Fuse 1+ 30W and Fuse 1 3D printers.
This feature enables users to add to a print job that's already in progress, eliminating the need to wait for a complete print cycle before starting new parts. Perfect for service bureaus, job shops, engineering departments, and small batch production facilities, this functionality transforms how printing workflows are managed.
This feature is particularly valuable for prints with shorter Z-heights or long print times. Simply start a print in the morning and add models throughout the day as orders come in, reducing downtime between builds and minimizing heat-up and cool-down cycles for faster, more productive SLS 3D printing.

User feedback inspired the latest firmware updates for Form 4 Series 3D printers: the ability to drain resin cartridges, and reduced fan noise.
Getting every drop of resin out of a container is time-consuming and potentially messy. Drain Cartridge offers clean, hands-free consumables management for Form 4 Series 3D printers. Instead of uncapping and upending a mostly empty resin cartridge, it can be left in the printer and emptied with the click of a button — all without physically touching the cartridge.
Optimized operation of cooling fans reduces the noise level of Form 4 Series 3D printers by 63%. 3D printers often sit on desks or work tables where users are trying to do focused work.
