As you may be aware, the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union has led to some changes regarding the way goods are shipped into the UK from mainland Europe.
To thank our customers for their continued support, Formlabs has been absolving the additional administration and shipping costs incurred since the transition on January 1, 2021.
We’ve since worked closely with our logistics team to define a process that allows you to receive your Formlabs products quickly and efficiently from our warehouse in the Netherlands, with limited impact to your business.
To demonstrate our commitment, we’re continuing to absorb the additional carrier charges but will be introducing a handling fee for orders under £500. We’re continually assessing the situation and looking for a long-term solution.

What are the changes coming into place from April 19 2021?
- Due to the logistical impact of Brexit we have introduced a handling fee of £50 for orders below £500.
- For orders to over £500 (both hardware and material purchases), please reach out to your Formlabs Sales Representative or Formlabs Authorized Partner to confirm the right shipping option.
What is the most effective way to purchase consumables moving forward?
- We’d suggest grouping your consumable purchases together so they exceed the order threshold, meaning that Formlabs will cover the additional carrier charges.
