Uploading and confirming a print (SLA)
Before you begin
To send a print job to your Formlabs SLA printer, first follow the instructions in the support article Starting a print.
Initiating a print
Once a model is oriented and supported in PreForm, it is ready to send to the printer:
- Send the print job to the printer.
- Insert matching consumables.
- Confirm the print job on the printer’s touchscreen to start the print.
After a print is complete, you can immediately remove the printed part and the build platform from the printer to start a new print job.
Managing the print queue
Periodically, review uploaded print jobs on the printer’s touchscreen. You may need to delete print jobs from the print queue to ensure there is sufficient space on your printer’s internal storage.
Managing printers
While Formlabs SLA printers are designed to be powered on when not in use, you may turn off your printer in between print jobs.
