When disposing of a damaged or clogged purge filter, remove it from the printer and clean off any laurolactam and powder following the instructions in the article Cleaning the Fuse X1 purge filters. Once cleaned, the filter can be disposed of with standard waste.

Replace the purge filter bianually.
