Firmware 2.4 Adds Support for Japanese and Chinese on Form 3/B/+ and Enables Resin Pumping System on Form 3L/BL
The latest firmware update, 2.4, brings new languages to Form 3, Form 3+, and Form 3B+ printer UI plus support for Resin Pumping System to Form 3L and Form 3BL. Firmware version 2.4 will automatically be pushed to existing users for a streamlined update process.

With the addition of Resin Pumping System to Form 3L/BL, it’s possible to print five times more before needing to change over resin cartridges, for greater efficiency and an 86% reduction in waste.
New Languages: Japanese and Chinese
Change the display language on a Form 3/B/+ to display Japanese with just a few taps.
Additional language options are now available on the user interface for Form 3/B/+ including Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. The addition of these languages brings the total number of languages available on Formlabs printer touchscreens to four, expanding accessibility and ease of use.
Changing Your Printer Language
Change the language on your printer by following the steps below on the touchscreen of your printer.

Go into ‘Settings’ and select ‘System.’

Scroll down and select ‘Language.’

From this menu, select the language you’d like to use.

A language selection confirmation will appear. Click ‘Confirm’ to confirm your selection.

The printer UI will reappear in your selected language. This may take a minute or two.
