Starting with PreForm 3.29.0 and firmware version 2.0, printers from the Form 3 and Form 3L product lines can be set to automatically print the next compatible print job in their queue. Use this feature to streamline your printing process and minimize extra preparation steps.

A printer is ready to print once you insert a resin cartridge, a resin tank, and a build platform. The resin tank must be unused, or its resin type must match that in the resin cartridge.

1. Insert a resin cartridge and open the vent cap.
2. Insert a matching or unused resin tank.
3. Insert a build platform. The Build Platform Inserted notification appears. If the build platform is free of any previous prints or other cured resin, tap Yes, it’s ready.

• If the notification disappears before you confirm the status of the build platform or you have disabled build platform detection, tap Platform on the main printer screen. The Confirm Build Platform screen appears. Tap Yes, it’s ready to confirm that the build platform is ready for a new print.

• If you previously disabled Automatic Ready to Print, the Ready button appears. Tap Ready.
• Once you insert matching consumables and confirm the status of the build platform, the printer displays the message The Printer is Ready to Print.

To speed up your printing workflow, you can set your printer to automatically start the next compatible print job in the local queue once the printer status is Ready again. To enable automatic printing from the local queue:

1. Tap the queue icon. The Local Queue screen appears. If your printer is ready to print, the status Ready To Print appears in the top-right corner.

• Enable the Print All toggle. If your printer is ready to print and there is a queued print that matches the inserted consumables, the Next Print Starts In screen appears. The printer automatically starts the next matching queued print in 10 seconds.

• To stop the next print from starting, tap Cancel before the countdown completes. This cancels the next print job without removing it from the queue and disables the Print All setting.

Form Auto

If you are using the local queue on a Form Auto, the machine automatically retrieves the printed parts, readies the printer, and continues with the next compatible print.

Standalone printer

Once a print job completes, get your printer ready to print again so it can automatically proceed to the next compatible print job in the local queue. To continue printing from the local queue:

1. Wait for the current print to complete.
2. When it finishes, the outline of the build platform on the main printer screen turns red and its status changes to Remove parts.

When Print All is enabled, any print jobs in the local queue that match the currently-inserted consumables are shown in blue. The number next to the print job name denotes its order in the queue. Any incompatible print jobs are shown in grey and are not given a number.

• Open the printer cover and remove the build platform.
• Insert a clean build platform that is ready to print with the current resin type.
• The Build Platform Inserted notification appears. If the build platform is free of any previous prints or other cured resin, tap Yes, it’s ready.
  • If the notification disappears before you confirm the status of the build platform or you have disabled build platform detection, tap Platform on the main printer screen. The Confirm Build Platform screen appears. Tap Yes, it’s ready to confirm that the build platform is ready for a new print.
• Once your printer is ready to print and there is a queued print that matches the inserted consumables, the Next Print Starts In screen appears. The printer automatically starts the next matching queued print in 10 seconds.
