Formlabs hardware products come with a one-year factory warranty. Beyond that, we also offer a variety of SLA and SLS service plans that provide enhanced or expedited service. A printer and its accessories can be covered by a service plan for up to five years from the original shipment date.

If you decide to purchase or extend a service plan, you can do so before your current coverage (warranty or plan) ends or within 30 days of expiry. If more than 30 days have passed since your printer’s warranty or service plan expired, you can extend your coverage by paying an additional recertification fee.

• Eligibility: Printers and associated hardware products whose warranty or service plan expired more than 30 days ago and have no open support cases associated with them. Any open support cases must be resolved before recertification.
• Recertification fee
• Form 4 generation: 500 USD (or local equivalent), plus service plan price
• Form 4L generation: 1,500 USD (or local equivalent), plus service plan price
• Coverage limit: Maximum five years total, starting from the original shipment date

• Eligibility: Printers and associated hardware products whose warranty or service plan expired more than 30 days ago but less than 1 year ago and have no open support cases associated with them. Any open support cases must be resolved before recertification.
• Recertification fee: 3,600 USD (or local equivalent), plus service plan price
• Coverage limit: Maximum five years total, starting from the original shipment date
