The Formlabs Resin Pumping System uses a five liter resin container and a motorized pump to dispense resin into the resin tank, leading to fewer print disruptions and reducing the consumption of single-use plastic.
The Resin Pumping System consists of two components: the Resin Pump and the 5 L Resin Container. The Resin Pump takes the place of the standard 1 L Resin Cartridge in the back or side of the printer. The Resin Pumping System can dispense up to five liters of resin from a connected resin container.
Each 5 L container ships with a Resin Card that goes inside the body of the Resin Pump and lets the printer know the contents of the external 5 L container.
Note:
Not all Formlabs resins can be used with the Resin Pumping System. Some resins have a 5 L Resin Container option in stock, some can be made on request, while others are incompatible with the Resin Pumping System. Check the Formlabs Store to see which resins are available. Please contact Sales if you are interested in a resin that is not listed.
