Furthermore, with every educational printer package purchase, Formlabs is including free access to Open Material Mode. This valuable feature, typically priced between $2,499 and $4,999 depending on the printer model, unlocks unparalleled material versatility. Users gain the freedom to experiment with a broad spectrum of 405 nm resins (SLA) and 1064 nm powders (SLS), fostering deeper exploration of material science and expanding research possibilities. This significant addition empowers educational institutions to push the boundaries of innovation.

Bulk Material Pricing

In addition to the aforementioned benefits, all Formlabs customers, including educational institutions, are eligible for bulk material discounts. This further reduces the cost of operation and allows for greater budgetary efficiency when acquiring materials for classroom instruction or research projects.
