Fuse Sift workspace lights do not turn on
Explanation
The Fuse Sift lights illuminate the workspace while extracting and cleaning printed parts. The workspace lights are two LED boards connected to each other and the Fuse Sift motherboard. If the workspace lights do not turn on when activated, the lights or motherboard may be at fault.
Causes
- Damaged or faulty LED board
- Damaged or faulty motherboard
- Faulty connection between motherboard and workspace lights
Symptoms
- Fuse Sift workspace lights do not turn on when activated using the touchscreen or control panel
Troubleshooting steps
- Confirm that other components controlled by the touchscreen and control panel function as expected. If other components do not turn on, or if the touchscreen or control panel do not reliably respond to input, the touchscreen assembly may be faulty. - Confirm that both workspace lights do not turn on. If only one light does not turn on, contact Formlabs Support or your certified service provider.
