How do I get a quote and place an order myself?

Quotes can be self-serviced instantly through the Formlabs Store, or received within one business day from a Formlabs Sales representative. Quotes that are processed by a Formlabs Sales Representative will include a fee that can be removed if the order is placed through the self-service method.

To self-service a quote:

1. Log in to the Formlabs Store and add your items to your cart.
2. Access your cart and select Quote Cart.
   
3. Input your shipping address and select a shipping method.
   • Formlabs can not utilize or charge shipping accounts.
   • This step is not applicable to carts containing only virtual products, such as a Service Plan.
4. Select Create a Quote and confirm your selection. The quote will be instantly generated and you will be redirected to the My Quotes section of the Formlabs Store to download it.
5. Select Download PDF to receive a PDF copy of your quote. Please note that quotes are valid for 30 days from when they are generated.

Adding quotes to your cart

You can access previously generated quotes from the My Quotes page of the Formlabs Store.

1. To access My Quotes, navigate to My Account via the top right of the Formlabs Store or Dashboard landing page. Then, select My Quotes from the menu options on the left.
2. To view your historical quotes in detail, select View on the desired quote. From this menu, you can select Download PDF to receive the quote in a document, or select Add to Cart to place the quoted products directly in your Formlabs Store cart.

If you have any questions, contact Formlabs Sales. Orders placed manually through a Sales representative will incur a processing fee. Self-service options have no additional processing fee, and will process instantly.

All orders can be processed instantly online through the Formlabs Store, including Net terms for existing Net terms customers. If you require Net Terms, please reach out to Sales. Some conditions may apply for Net terms eligibility.

Orders can also be placed manually with a Formlabs Sales representative for a fee. Manual orders process within approximately one business day, plus the selected shipping time.

To place an order instantly through the Formlabs Store:

1. Log in to the Formlabs Store and add your items to your cart.
   • To use a previously generated quote, navigate to My Quotes. Click View on the desired quote, and select Add to Cart.
   • To create an order from scratch, select your items and select Add to Cart.
   • For Net terms orders, ensure the SKU and quantity of product in your cart matches your purchase order exactly. Discrepancies may result in invoice acceptance and payment issues, which could delay future orders.
2. Access your cart or select Checkout.
3. Input your shipping address and select a shipping method.
4. Click Continue to Payment.
5. Select your payment method.
   • Net terms require a Purchase order. If you need Net terms enabled for your Formlabs Store account, contact Sales. Some conditions may apply for eligibility.
   
   
6. Enter your Purchase Order Number and upload your Purchase Order Document. Note that the document must be a PDF or JPEG. The products and quantity on the Purchase Order should match the items in your cart exactly.
   • Enter the email address you would like the order’s invoice to be sent to for payment (for example, your Accounts Payable email address), or include your payment portal type (for example, Coupa, SAP, Ariba).
   
   
7. Click Place order.
   • Invoices will be e-mailed to the provided e-mail address upon shipment of your order.
