Community and Impact
Through initiatives around access, education, and equity, Formlabs is working to share the resources and tools needed to lift up our communities.

FormԐd
Formlabs employees volunteer annually with Boston Public Schools students at TechBoston Academy, a pilot school serving grades 6-12, to teach a hands-on engineering course. Students get project assistance and mentorship from Formlabs employees, and Formlabs provides all materials for a student project Hackathon.

Educator Enablement
Explore resources for teaching engineering, life sciences, and design, and join our Educator Forum for peer-to-peer exchange with instructors across the world.

Student Group Sponsorships
Formlabs invites student groups and competition teams to request in-kind donations of resins, powder, and other consumables to enable hands-on, applications-driven use of professional-grade 3D printing.
Special Pricing
Accredited educational institutions are eligible for special pricing, including a 10% discount on printers, hardware, and select accessories, and free Open Material Mode. Contact Formlabs or an Authorized Reseller to verify your eligibility.
ReForm
Formlabs occasionally donates lightly used and refurbished hardware (3D printers and post-processing equipment) to local organizations. Accredited educational institutions and 501(c)(3) nonprofits that are able to pick up products from our office locations are encouraged to apply. List of current pickup locations and additional donation criteria can be found at the link below.
Community Tours
Formlabs hosts K-12 and college/university student groups for educational tours of our office spaces. Community tours can include a grade level-appropriate introduction to 3D printing, a hands-on activity, and panel discussion with Formlabs employees.
Local groups interested in a tour of our Boston, MA headquarters can email us to inquire about availability.
