Taking Designs From Idea to Object with Anythingby

“Trying things out is the only way to test good design,” says Yair Neuman, product designer and founder of London-based studio Anythingby.

At Anythingby, the designers and artists create beautifully-shaped objects out of different materials, whether it's a rope-pulled ceiling lamp or a touch-activated speaker, each with “a surprising twist”.

These objects first take shape in Yair’s imagination before he transfers them to sketches and then prototypes them with his Form 1+ 3D printer. “The Form 1+ for us is a manufacturing tool. The result you get is so satisfying.“ For product designers such as Yair, having the Form 1+ 3D printer in his workshop makes design iterations quick and easy. “The prints feel like final products,” adds Yair.
