Standard resin material quality assurance
Formlabs performs appropriate quality control on our SLA resin to ensure each lot of resin produced is certified according to the specifications of the requisite formula. Formlabs maintains versioning updates for any changes to the resin formulation.

Environmental standards: REACH and RoHS
Formlabs resin is produced in accordance with EU Directive 2011/65/EU requirement for the restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS).

Using materials in a clean room
Formlabs liquid photopolymer resins do not produce air particulate during 3D printing and therefore do not contribute to overall air particulate (viable/non-viable) with regards to clean room certification. For a formal statement, click here (English only).
BSE/TSE
Formlabs, Inc. declares that to the best of our knowledge and based on the information provided by our suppliers, none of our resins or powders contain any animal derived materials including bovine products. All Formlabs resins are free of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE). For a formal statement, click here (English only).
