Rigid 4000 Resin 1 L
Whether you're optimizing your manufacturing process, rapidly iterating through designs, or assessing form, fit, and function, Formlabs Engineering Resins are formulated to withstand extensive testing and perform under stress. Glass-filled Rigid 4000 Resin prints with a smooth, polished finish and is ideal for stiff and strong parts that can withstand minimal deflection. Consider Rigid 4000 Resin for general load-bearing applications. The “4000” in the name represents the material’s tensile modulus. If you need a stiffer material, try Rigid 10K Resin. Supports print resolutions: 100 and 50 microns.
Rigid 4000 Resin decreases the lifetime of resin tanks.

Why Choose Rigid 4000 Resin?
Rigid 4000 Resin is a glass-filled material that has the highest tensile strength in our Engineering Resin Library.
Resistant to deformation under a variety of forces, pressures, and torques.
High Thermal and Chemical Resistance
Withstands high temperatures and a variety of chemicals.
Produce strong, detailed, and accurate molds or models.
Smooth, Matte Finish
Deliver parts that look and feel like a finished product.
Produce stiff and strong engineering-grade prototypes that can be load-bearing.

* Material properties can vary with part geometry, print orientation, print settings, and temperature. Data was obtained from parts printed using Form 3, 100 μm, Rigid settings and post-cured with a Form Cure for 15 minutes at 80 °C.
Form Wash Settings
15 minutes in IPA
Rigid 4000 Resin contains glass particles, which strengthens printed parts. Maintain separate wash buckets to prevent glass particles adhering to parts printed with other resins.
Form Cure Settings
For parts printed in an engineering-focused resin (such as those in the Rigid, Tough & Durable, and Flexible & Elastic families), post-curing ensures that the parts reach their optimal mechanical properties and can function as designed. There is only one recommended post-curing time for Rigid 4000 Resin V1.
