Guten Morgen, people of Austria! We are excited to be in Vienna next week for the Pioneers Festival, Europe's major conference for future technology and entrepreneurship that brings together a community of over 20,000 entrepreneurial shapers.
Our Product Lead Dávid Lakatos, who sold his company to Dropbox before joining Formlabs, will talk about the challenges of a hardware vs. software startup. If you are at the festival, don't miss his** talk on Friday May 29th at 12:25pm** on the Academy Stage Program.
Can't make it to Pioneers? No worries. We have organized an informal meetup on May 27th with Happylab, Austria's first FabLab. This makerspace, with more than 1,000 active members, grants access to laser cutters, 3D printers and many other fabrication tools for a very small monthly fee. The evening will start at 19:00 with a tour of the Happylab facilities; Dávid and I will then demo the Form 1+ and will be available to answer all of your questions regarding our machine and the SLA technology.
