On September 13, the Conference’s “Chaos to Convergence” theme will bring together executives, policy makers, and innovators to discuss how manufacturers have successfully evolved production in response to recent roadblocks.
Somerville, MA, 13 Jul 2023 – Formlabs, the leading 3D printing company, and Autodesk, the leading software company helping customers design and make a better world for all, today announced the fifth The Digital Factory Conference coming to SoWa Power Station in Boston on September 13, 2023. This year, the conference will explore ‘Chaos to Convergence’ highlighting new production methods created in response to recent industry stressors. The Digital Factory will feature an agenda of keynotes and panelists discussing these latest evolutions, including representatives from Autodesk, Hasbro, GE Digital, Tulip, MIT, and more. Registration is now open at thedigitalfactory.com.
Manufacturers of all sizes have realigned their organizations, strengthened their foundations, and explored new methods of production in response to the stressors of the last few years. These adaptations have changed how businesses interact within the global manufacturing network, and those who thrived have made not only themselves, but also the network as a whole, stronger. The Digital Factory creates a space where ideas from global business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators, converge to discuss topics including digital design, digital manufacturing, sustainability, workforce development, and supply networks. Conference panels will feature industry thought leaders discussing various trends, such as the future of manufacturing, how digital manufacturing can support supply chain resiliency, how advances in healthcare digitization can be applied to other industries, and more. This year’s conference will also feature the crowd-favorite Pop-Up Factory: Powered by Tulip. Attendees can join the factory line and experience a hands-on, end-to-end assembly process.
“The Digital Factory is one of my favorite events of the year, where leaders in manufacturing technology get together to share their latest advances and connect to make the global manufacturing network stronger as a whole,” said Max Lobovsky, co-founder and CEO of Formlabs. “This year’s conference will celebrate the many obstacles weathered over the past few years that ultimately led to new innovations and growth in the manufacturing industry and beyond.”
“Technology is affecting profound change on the companies and people who design and make the world around us,” said Andrew Anagnost, president and CEO of Autodesk. “Powered by AI and the cloud, industry will be able to produce better, more sustainable products more efficiently. I’m excited to talk with the people on the forefront of this change at The Digital Factory conference,” Anagnost said.
