Formlabs Completes its Large Format 3D Printing Ecosystem With Launch of Form Wash L and Form Cure L

Somerville, MA, Oct. 26, 2021 – Formlabs, the leading 3D printing company, today announced the launch of Form Wash L and Form Cure L, a fully automated post-processing system for the company’s line of large format printers, the Form 3L and Form 3BL. With Form Wash L and Form Cure L, users can now streamline their 3D printing workflow by automating the post-processing of their large-scale and high-volume prints to consistently produce high-quality parts. Together, the pair complete Formlabs’ large-format SLA ecosystem, offering an intuitive end-to-end solution for printing and processing professional-quality parts and making it the ideal 3D printing solution for cost-effective, in-house, large-scale production.

Form Wash L cleans SLA 3D printed parts after printing while Form Cure L completes the curing process to help parts achieve peak mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy. The two machines are compatible with Formlabs’ entire line of SLA printers and can be used for both large parts or high throughput of smaller parts. 

Post-processing with Wash L and Cure L automates and streamlines the workflow by offering users pre-programmed settings that are tuned to each Formlabs resin. These large format solutions have also been validated and are compatible with the majority of our SLA materials, including biocompatible, sterilizable materials made in our ISO 13485 facility.

The completion of Formlabs large-format 3D printing ecosystem will enable users to take control of their large-scale production, increase throughput and bring their biggest ideas to life.
