Our Fuse 1 materials and the powder credit system are designed to ensure a smooth, reliable printing experience. The Fuse 1’s powder credit system and the ID card that comes with each package of Formlabs powder ensure that only fully-tested materials are used with the printer and that you can track your powder inventory, even after reusing powder multiple times.

The Fuse 1 can only print with Formlabs powder—using untested SLS materials in the Fuse 1 could lead to print failures or irreparable damage to the printer, as the Fuse 1’s print settings are calibrated based on the physical properties and sintering temperature of each powder.
