Using BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin

Using BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin

Notice:

The Form 4 Flex Build Platform is required for printing with BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin.

To avoid damage to equipment, check the resin tank compatibility table in Choosing the right material to confirm you are using a resin tank that is compatible with this material.

BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin is a ceramic-filled material for highly accurate permanent restorative parts, provisional restorative parts, and denture teeth. Use this resin to create precisely fitting permanent single-unit restorations (crowns, inlays, onlays, implant-supported crowns) or up to three-unit bridges with accurate marginal adaptation. This resin can also be used to create provisional single-unit restorations, up to seven-unit provisional bridges, and denture teeth for full or partial removable dentures.

As a Formlabs Certified Material, BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin is fully compatible with the Form 4B automated resin dispensing system, the PreForm Dental workspace, and other aspects of the Formlabs ecosystem.

This resin is available in three commonly used VITA shades: A2, A3, and B1.

Note:

To learn more about the performance or specific material properties of BEGO™ TriniQ® Resin, refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS). Always consult the SDS as the primary source of information to understand safety and handling of Formlabs materials.

Printing with BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin

Notice:

The Form 4 Flex Build Platform is required for printing with BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin.

Install or update PreForm, then set up the next print job.

To prepare a model for printing in PreForm:

  1. Open a model.
  2. Select the resin, resin version, and the desired layer thickness.
  3. Orient to preserve fine details.
    • Orient crown and bridge patterns with the fitting areas or margins facing upwards to avoid adding supports to the most critical part of the restoration.
    • Orient restorations horizontally, with the occlusal plane facing the build platform.

  4. Generate supports.
  5. Send the print job to the printer.

Shake the resin cartridge for two minutes to ensure the resin is mixed completely.

Finishing

The Form Wash and other washing systems agitate the solvent bath and remove parts from the bath after a set time. Wash parts according to the Instructions for Use. Pay particular attention to information that affects mechanical properties or biocompatibility requirements.

If the model is hollow or has internal channels, ensure liquid resin is flushed out thoroughly from these features. Allow parts to fully dry before post-curing.

Post-curing requirements

BEGO™ VarseoSmile® TriniQ® Resin requires post-curing to reach its optimal mechanical properties. Post-cure according to the Instructions for Use.
