Multi-material capable

Switching materials is possible within a few hours. Due to the lower hardware costs, it's also substantially cheaper to build out a multi-material fleet.

Accuracy

Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W

Dimensionally accurate parts with high repeatability

Fuse Series achieves a standard XY tolerance of +/- 0.5% or 0.3 mm, whichever is smaller. For the Z axis, the overall accuracy is +/- 1% or 0.6 mm, whichever is smaller, but the repeatability and precision of individual parts are exceptionally high, maintaining +/- 0.5 % in any given location. These results compare favorably to large industrial systems.

Technology

Raise3D RMS220

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Raise3D RMS220 is a benchtop industrial SLS 3D printer announced by Raise3D, previously a Formlabs reseller in China, with an eerily familiar look, user interface, and workflow.

Costs

Raise3D RMS220

Starting at $33,999, complete setup for ≈$70,000.

The Raise3D RMS220 starts at $33,999 for the printer only (including installation fee).

There’s no equivalent complete solution, as Raise3D does not offer an automated media blasting solution. A semi-complete package that includes the printer, two build chambers, installation, and depowdering solution costs $49,000. With a third-party solution for media blasting and possibly also third-party software for 3D packing on par with PreForm, the equivalent complete setup would exceed $70,000.
