How do I find the serial name of my product?

The serial name is on the back panel of all Formlabs machines in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

For Formlabs products with a touchscreen display, the serial name is also available through the display.

  1. Tap the printer icon on the Home screen. A new screen appears.
  2. The serial name is listed in the top-left corner in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

The serial name is listed in the status bar at the top of the touchscreen in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

If your printer has a custom name, that is displayed instead of the serial name. To find the serial name, check the back label or tap Settings > General > About this printer on the touchscreen.

  1. Tap the printer icon on the Home screen. A new screen appears.
  2. The serial name is listed in the top-left corner in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

  1. Tap the printer icon on the home screen. The Your Printer screen appears.
  2. The serial name is listed in the top-right corner in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

  1. Return to the Home screen if you are currently viewing a different screen.
  2. The serial name is listed in the top-left corner in the format AdjectiveAnimal.

  1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cable.
  2. When the Formlabs screen appears, press and hold the knob to display the serial name and firmware version.
