Disclaimer: The outlined casting houses have tested Formlabs’ Castable Wax and Castable V2 Resin with successful results. For Castable Wax, the test prints were printed at 25 microns, “Fine Detail” settings, and washed in the Form Wash according to Formlabs' specifications.
For Castable V2 Resin, the test prints were printed at 50 microns, “Fine Detail” settings, washed in the Form Wash and post cured according to Formlabs’ specifications.
The tests have been carried out according to Formlabs’ best knowledge and focused on several different designs (pave, split shank, filigree) in a variety of metals. Please note that when platinum and palladium casting is required the designer should first discuss casting their parts in platinum with the caster before sending the parts. Formlabs cannot guarantee the specific results as success may vary depending on design constraints and other factors.
