The Form Wash (2nd Generation) inner lid assembly insulates the wash bucket during wash cycles to prevent solvent from spilling outside of the machine and to prevent solvent evaporation. A damaged or malfunctioning inner lid assembly may prevent the Form Wash from operating as intended.

Replacing the inner lid assembly
Overview: Remove the inner lid assembly from the Form Wash and install the replacement inner lid assembly.
Step 1: Remove the inner lid assembly

Grip the inner lid assembly and lift it out of the wash bucket. The inner lid assembly should detach without any resistance. Set the inner lid assembly aside for disposal.
Step 2: Install the replacement inner lid assembly

Place the replacement inner lid assembly in the top of the wash bucket. The inner lid assembly is inserted correctly when it fits without resistance and sits flush against the top of the wash bucket.
Ensure that the inner lid assembly sits below the tabs at the base of the outer lid. If it sits on top of these tabs, the Form Wash elevator will jam and be unable to lower properly.

Step 1: Reinstall the wash basket
Reinstall the wash basket.
Step 2: Lower the elevator
Turn the Form Wash knob to select Lower on the display. Push the knob to confirm. The Form Wash lowers the elevator and basket into the wash bucket.
Step 3: Test the repair
Run a wash cycle. Check that the wash cycle starts normally, the inner lid assembly stays in place and prevents solvent from spilling outside of the machine, and that the elevator raises normally at the end of the cycle.
