Can I use third-party resins with my Formlabs printer?

Each Formlabs resin is tuned to specific settings within PreForm to ensure a successful print. Without the proper settings, third-party resins are likely to fail when being used in a Formlabs SLA printer.

Formlabs now offers Open Material Mode for Form 3, Form 3L, Form 4, Form 4L, and Fuse 1 generation printers.

Notice:

The printer will not automatically dispense resin from the cartridge. Manually pour resin into the tank before starting a print. Pour enough resin to cover the tank film.
