The Form Wash L measures the concentration of dissolved resin in the wash solvent using a solvent monitor attached to the wash bucket. The solvent monitor must be unplugged and uninstalled whenever you remove the wash bucket from the machine, such as during cleaning. You may also need to replace the solvent monitor if it is not functioning properly.

Unplug and uninstall the solvent monitor from the Form Wash L before removing the wash bucket from the machine. Fully removing the wash bucket from the Form Wash L before uninstalling the solvent monitor may damage the solvent monitor.

To remove the the solvent monitor:

1. Tap Raise on the Form Wash L touchscreen. The platform mount rises out of the wash bucket.
2. Open the Form Wash L door.
3. Disconnect the solvent monitor from the Form Wash L. Twist the plug collar counterclockwise and pull the plug away from the machine.
4. Gently pull the wash bucket towards yourself to remove it from the Form Wash L.
5. Press down on the left-hand door of the Form Wash L inner lid.
6. Unclip the solvent monitor bracket from the front edge of the wash bucket. Lift the solvent monitor bracket (with the solvent monitor attached) out of the wash bucket and set it aside on a paper towel or other absorbent surface.

Install the solvent monitor in the wash bucket before inserting the wash bucket into the Form Wash L. The solvent monitor cannot be installed after the wash bucket is fully inserted.

To install the the solvent monitor:

1. Press down on the left-hand door of the Form Wash L inner lid.
2. Clip the solvent monitor bracket (with the solvent monitor attached) onto the front edge of the wash bucket.
3. Reinsert the wash bucket into the Form Wash L. Push the wash bucket in until it reaches the back wall of the unit.
4. Plug the solvent monitor into the socket on the front of the unit.
5. Close the Form Wash L door.
