Introduction to Alumina 4N Resin

Alumina 4N Resin is a high-density and high-purity technical ceramic with exceptional performance in extreme environments: thermally resistant, hard, abrasion resistant, mechanically strong, and chemically inert. Conventionally it is manufactured by pressing or ceramic injection molding, both of which require expensive tooling in order to produce parts.

Alumina is used in situations where metals and polymers would fail, be it high temperature, extreme abrasion, or zero deflection. Once fired, the material becomes a true high density ceramic with comparable properties to traditionally manufactured alumina.

Alumina 4N Resin requires firing before it is ready for use, as well as a specific wash solution.
